The Groom Anticipates His Bride

Before the Wedding

Our trip to Kenya began with the announcement of a marriage. Gavin was living in Kenya where he had met his true love, Linda. Gavin contacted his spiritual mother, Della, to tell her they would be marrying in three weeks time. But, Gavin was from Nigera and his parents would not be able to attend his wedding. Della knew in her heart that she should be at that wedding. She did not want to go by herself to a place she had never been before. She invited me. I prayed about it. Talked to Dave about it. We prayed about it. A week later Della and I were booked on a flight to Nairobi.

Outdoor Tea with Pastor Timothy

Before we left Nyeri, Pastor Timothy took us out for tea.

We sat out on the lawn at the resort to enjoy a cup of tea while Pastor Timothy told us a little about himself and the church in Nyeri.

Pastor Timothy runs several businesses to support his family, yet his heart is with the ministry to the people of Nyeri.

Pastor Timothy took us to a local resort hotel where there was an historical photo display in the lobby. He told us many things about the various pictures. I should have taken notes.

Della Dances

At Jesus Exultation Centre in Nyeri during one of our lunch hours meetings, Della praised the Lord with flags and banners.
