After years of pumping my own fuel, I finally noticed (actually my daughter drew my attention to it) that I have been living dangerously.There is a sign posted on the side of the fuel pump that prints out the danger: "Failure to fully discharge may ignite gasoline vapours."
Do you discharge your static electricity before using the pump? Has anyone ever started a fire this way?
